Hall of Fame legendary bluesman J.B. Lenoir’s masterpiece from the 1960s! Known for his high-pitched vocals that sounded like a woman’s, J.B. Lenoir excelled at light rockin’ blues, but he was also a rare bluesman who actively sang about social and political issues. Recorded in Chicago and released by CBS in 1966, all of the songs are played on acoustic guitar, and many of them are slow blues. You can enjoy his signature song “The Mojo Boogie,” covered by Johnny Winter, Freddie King, and others, and his biggest hit “Talk To Your Daughter,” among others.
