Skeletoon

This is the fourth album by the young Italian nerd metal (melodic power metal) band Skeletune. Although they are an Italian metal band, their music is influenced by Halloween, Edgai, Avantasia, etc., and their sound is directly related to so-called German metal, with emphasis on speed, power, and melody, which is easily familiar to Japanese people. Each album is based on a single concept. The previous album was based on the concept of the movie “The Goonies,” and this one is about a sentai hero that spans the multiverse. The previous album featured a splendid lineup of guests including Michele Luppi (Whitesnake), Giacomo Voli (Rhapsody of Fire), and Alessandro Conti (Twilight Force), and this album also features Giacomo, Alessandro, Bill Hudson (North Tail), and many more. Skeletune has included cover songs by Avantasia and Cyndi Lauper on their previous album, and this album will include a bonus track, “Carry On” by Angra, which is very popular in Japan (planned). This is a song selection that shows their love for this genre.
