This is the latest 8-song mini-album by WITHIN TEMPTATION’s sibling band, DELAIN, featuring songstress Charlotte Wessels. Produced with a new female guitarist, Merrell Bechtold, the album consists of newly written songs, live tracks, and different versions of new songs. The album was mastered by Ted Jensen, as on the previous album “The Human Contradiction”. Newcomer Merel Bechtold is a 23-year-old female guitarist from Brarikum, east of Amsterdam. She joined DELAIN in 2015, after having played in EPICA’s Mark Jansen’s Mayan and Anneke’s band, and has been a member of DREAM THEATER and SUICIDE SILENCE. She is a promising star player with advanced skills and good looks, honed under the tutelage of DREAM THEATER, SUICIDE SILENCE and others.The fantastic artwork by Orange County-based visual artist Glen Arthur, who previously created the covers for the third album “We Are The Others” and the “Interlude” EP, is back after a long absence.
