Marina Rebeka was born in Riga, Latvia, and graduated from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome in July 2007, where she studied at the Accademia Rossiniana under the direction of Alberto Zedda. In 2013, Rebekah released a collection of Mozart arias, which attracted much attention, and now, for the 150th anniversary of Rossini’s death in 2018, she will finally release her mainstay “Rossini Aria Collection” on BR KLASSIK will be releasing a collection of Rossini arias. These arias are selected from rarely heard operas, but they are all very compelling and wonderful pieces.
