From LA! Jamie Wyatt, the “female version of Merle Haggard” who is the talk of the outlaw country scene in the U.S. media, makes her first appearance in Japan! Jamie Wyatt’s strong core vocals and wild, straight-ahead country style are a delight! She has been performing her original songs about her experiences in prison, as well as covers of Merle Haggard’s classic songs. Sam Outlaw, an L.A. country singer whom Ry Cooder fell in love with, also sings on guest vocals. The band is backed by other top-notch musicians including Gabe Witcher (fiddle) of the Punch Brothers and Shooter Jennings’ band.
