[The Masterpieces of Charles Dutoit] This CD contains seven overtures including “The Light Horseman” by Suppé, who, along with J. Strauss II and Mirecker, is considered one of the “three great composers of Viennese comedy opera”. Dutoit and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra give a performance full of stylish flavor. Commemorating the 80th anniversary of Charles Dutoit’s birth. Rubidium clock cutting.
