[Schiff, who is known for his fresh and joyful expression and intelligent interpretation, recorded Schubert’s masterpiece “Mas” with the members of the Hagen String Quartet at the time of his debut, and Brahms’ Horn Trio with Högner and Binder. Schiff’s performance of these two masterpieces of Romantic chamber music is full of the joy of playing music with master musicians. This is a product of the “German Romanticism Discs” campaign.
