Accustic Arts bring to market a true Reference Level CD Player that represents the embodiment of all our knowledge and craft into a truly world class CD replay solution.

The PLAYER IV is an absolutely top-class CD player and D/A converter and the successor of the famous PLAYER IIMK2.

For the CD module, we have engineered a bespoke implementation of the ultimate CD Pro-8 mechanism.

With truly world class performance, the features of the PLAYER IV include 4 digital inputs (XLR, coaxial, optical and USB) and the USB input is engineered to the latest asynchronous DSD256 technology.

The PLAYER IV is not only a top class CD with an incredibly over-engineered top loading design, but also an audiophile D/A converter, which has both a coaxial and an asynchronous USB input for HD audio and DSD. Via these inputs, e.g. a laptop, MAC or PC, but also another digital source device.

The heart of the PLAYER IV is the new CD Pro-8 transport, which has been embedded in a massive, resonance-optimized ALU block.

The D/A converter used in the PLAYER IV works on the sophisticated 32/384 upsampling principle. For optimal connection, the PLAYER IV therefore has symmetrical outputs.
