Ao Mizuno debuted as a classical DJ in 2018 with the release of the first classical mix album in the history of classical music, “MILLENNIALS-We Will Classic You-” on the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label. 2019. After breaking the rules of how to listen to classical music with his first DJ mix album, his second album “MILLENNIALS-We Will Classic You-” is his first classical music mix album and the first to feature “orchestral music” through remakes of Beethoven’s symphonies. His second album, a remake of Beethoven’s symphonies, opened up new possibilities for orchestral music, and his third album, a contemporary update of operas and songs, is based on the concept that “the real human voice is the best instrument in the world”. This album contains a total of seven songs.The group performs Britten’s song “Illuminations” – “Seascape”, Korngold’s song “My Mistress Eyes”, Bizet’s opera “Carmen” – “Habanera”, Puccini’s opera “Turandot” – “No one shall sleep”, Schumann’s song “Milte no hana” – “Dedication”, Schubert’s “Ave Maria”, and Aioi Mizuno’s original compositions, all of which feature vocalists active in various genres.
