Dutch singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Benny Sings releases ‘Beat Tape III’, his third instalment in the ‘Beat Tape’ series on Stones Throw Records.
‘Beat Tape III’ is an assembly of chance sessions and rare collaborations, each track telling a story of its own: a jam with Jacob Jeffries of Vulfpeck in Amsterdam, a demo with GRAMMY-nominated Leven Kali, or a cut recorded with Kelsey González of The Free Nationals. More than a collection of outtakes, the project is a portrait of the process, the people, and the moments that shape Benny’s music.
Benny has worked with many notable artists, including Mac DeMarco, Tom Misch, The Free Nationals, GoldLink, Cory Henry, Remi Wolf and more.
Benny has performed sold-out tours across Europe and North America, as well as acclaimed live sessions on NPR Tiny Desk and COLORS.
His latest full-length album, ‘Young Hearts’, released in 2023, was produced with Kenny Beats and received widespread praise for its innovative and heartfelt pop sound.
