MALACO RECORDS’ masterpiece is straight reissued as a domestic edition! After an interval since the Epic period in the late 70’s, Bobby Humphrey, a female flute player who mainly worked with the Meisel Brothers and released masterpieces in the Blue Note era from the early 1970’s, suddenly released this leader album in 1988 on Malaco Records. While maintaining her cool flute technique, this album is full of various charms, including “City Beat,” a dance number with 80’s-style beat, and “Hello,” a cover of Lionel Richie’s “Hello. This is the first CD release in Japan. Supervised by Shinichi Iwama (Super Cry Inc.). Includes commentary and uses the original jacket.
