Delgado joined the Deftones for the 1997 album Around The Fur, which gave them their first mainstream success. Songs like My Own Summer (Shove It) and Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away) received regular airplay on US radio and MTV. Deftones solidified their reputation as a band as artistically polished as they were heavy.
