A pianist of note signed to the prestigious Mercury KX following Auravl Arnalds. His minimalist, lyrical, and visual sound makes him a master of the post-classical world. Federico Albanese has worked on soundtracks for various films and TV series, and his debut album “The Houseboat and the Moon” has been praised as one of the most beautiful post-classical albums. Federico Albanese began piano lessons at an early age and gained attention as a student for his black music/folk/electronic/contemporary classical-influenced projects before turning to the piano and releasing solo works. This work was released as part of the new “Neue Meister” series on the prestigious Berlin label BERLIN CLASSICS. In Japan, he was introduced as a classical piano artist and was unknown to post-classical listeners such as Nils Frahm and Auravul Arnalds, but in 2020, he signed a major contract with Mercury KX, to which Auravul belongs, and has quickly become a hot property. Their lyrical melodies and minimalist sand will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.
