[Classical Department Store “Here’s What Everyone Loves” No.3 Orchestral Music] Here’s What Everyone Loves When it comes to classical music, we start with these 100 pieces of music and 100 titles! The world’s oldest classical label, Deutsche Grammophon, which boasts a history of over 120 years, and Decca (including the former Philips), which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2019 and is home to conductor Seiji Ozawa, pianist Mitsuko Uchida, and other greats. The series of evergreen masterpieces from both Decca and Philips labels will be released! We conducted a survey of about 25,000 people in the classical music industry and members of our newsletter. The campaign will release 100 titles, 20 in each genre, every two weeks. The Planets” is a spectacular depiction of the seven stars of the solar system by the British great Holst. Karajan made the first recording of this work in the early 1960s, when it had not yet gained popularity, and made its true value known to the world. This digital recording, made more than 20 years later, is overwhelming with its gorgeous sound with more colors and powerful, luminous expression.
