This is the third album titled “Bond Street” in New York City, following the previous album “Charlotte Street” (the name of a street in London). The album features two Henry Mancini classics, “Two for the road” from the movie “Always Two” (1967) and “It had better be tonight” from “The Pink Leopard” (1963), as well as rock covers such as “Light My Fire” by The Doors (1967) and “Viva la vida” by Coldplay. Viva la vida” by Coldplay, and a bossa nova arrangement of “Time to say goodbye” by Sarah Brightman. The album is supported by musicians who are also active overseas, such as Suzuki Osamu (sax), Inoue Yosuke (b), Amano Seitsugu (g), Wakai Yuya (p), Fuyu (ds), etc. The stylish and nostalgic sound is inspired by New York, which has many faces, and makes you feel as if you are wandering in the city.
