This is the first live album of the career of vocalist Jose James, who continues to be at the forefront of the contemporary jazz scene. It features material from two no-participation distribution shows that took place in August and October of 2020, when New York City, where he is based, was on lockdown due to the spread of the new coronavirus. With a strong band featuring Bigyuki on keyboards and Ben Williams on bass, the band performed their latest studio album, “No Beginning, No End 2,” as well as their most popular songs.
