The world’s oldest classical label “Deutsche Grammophon” with over 120 years of history, and “Decca” (including former Philips), which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2019, and has such great masters as conductor Seiji Ozawa and pianist Mitsuko Uchida belonging to its labels. The series of evergreen masterpieces from both Decca and Philips labels will be released! We conducted a survey of about 25,000 people in the classical music industry and members of our newsletter. The campaign will release 20 titles in each genre every two weeks for a total of 100 titles. The “Requiem,” Mozart’s last work, is a dramatic masterpiece that transcends the framework of religious music. This disc is a must-hear recording by Böhm, who excelled at Mozart, with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, in whom he placed his complete trust, and with some of the best singers of the time. Böhm’s performance is of a high quality at a leisurely tempo, and leaves the listener with a deep impression. No bilingual lyrics are included.
