Since his impressive debut in 2014 with his first album “Tell Adolph”, Kohei Ueno has been remarkably active in the saxophone, brass band, and classical music worlds. Five years have passed since his debut album, and he is now facing the challenge of “Tell Adolph” once again. Kohei Ueno, who is living in the present, plays original compositions written for the saxophone, creating a definitive recording. Noteworthy is a new piece with Japanese drums, which will be performed for the first time in the world the day before its release. Commissioned by internationally acclaimed composer Dai Fujikura, the piece is a Duo piece with world innovator of taiko, Eitetsu Hayashi. The world premiere recording also includes a sonata by Yutaka Osaka, commissioned for Ueno, which captures Kohei Ueno as he has grown musically and technically over the past five years.
