Description
Cover Notes: ‘Live in London’ is Tom’s first live album. Using ‘jazz’ as an umbrella term for the album which plays host to many genres; including jazz, blues, swing, rock ‘n’ roll, boogie woogie and stripped back intimate piano/vocal. Featuring Big Band classics such as Ray Charles’ ‘Let The Good Times Roll’, Glen Campbell’s country staple ‘Wichita Lineman’, a jazz version of ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’, a laid back interpretation of Olivia Dean tune ‘Flowers’ and Tom’s infamous boogie woogie. The album also debuts an original tune, `Heading For The Heartland’, co-written with Slade legend, Noddy Holder. With incredible musicianship from Tom’s band; including Roger Inniss (Chaka Khan, Ruby Turner and now Musical Director for Kiefer Sutherland), Bjorn Woodhall (Bruno Mars, Simply Red, Lusaint), Chris ‘Beebe’ Aldridge (Ben E King, Gary Barlow, Rudimental) and the rest of the band.
