In the fall of 2017, 40 years after the death of Maria Callas, the charismatic opera prima donna of the century, a box of selected live opera performance recordings will be released on September 15 as a sister project to the session recording box released in 2014. This is a series of representative recordings of Callas’ passionate performances on stage at the peak of his career, researched from sources in the best condition and remastered in 96khz/24bit at Studio Art et Son in France, and digitally mastered for release on SACD single layer vinyl in Japan alone.
