Since the first edition in 2002, this project “for the development of young musicians” by Martha Argerich has been one of the most remarkable and significant projects of the Lugano Festival. This is a record of the last year of the project. The program includes a concert by Cecilia Bartoli (mezzo-soprano) accompanied by Argerich, and Argerich’s second performance of “Gaspar at Night,” as well as the usual lineup of Mischa Maisky (cello), Steven Kovacevich (piano), and Ivry Gitlis (violin), and other world-class performers.
