After a stint with the Royal Southern Brotherhood, Mike Zito is now a regular at the Blues Music Awards for his dignified work! With a sultry voice and hot slide guitar, he covers originals as well as classic songs by Bobby Bland, Bobby Thaxton, and others. He co-wrote the funkiest number on the album with guest Bernard Allison, who is currently on a world tour with “Blues Cavan”. Veteran keyboardist Louis Stevens, who has worked with Freddie King and Delbert McClinton, also joins the band on keyboards.
