[AOR CITY 1000] 40th anniversary of Boz Scaggs’ “Silk Degrees”, the original AOR! AOR works from the 70s and 80s that are still very popular are now available at an affordable price of “1,000 yen”! The series is supervised by Hisakazu Kanazawa, known for Light Mellow. The artwork for this series is provided by Hiroshi Nagai, a master illustrator known for his work on Eiichi Otaki’s “A LONG VACATION”. The band was formed by Richard Page (vo/b) and Steve George (key/sax), who had been active in the Los Angeles-based band of talented musicians known as “The Page’s,” with new members Steve Farris (g) and Pat Mastelotto (ds). The band has signed with RCA and has changed its tune from the highly sensitive jazz-AOR of the Page’s to a pop-rock style, a fresh start. Richard Page & Steve George and Richard’s cousin, John Lang, are the main producers of the songs.
