Rising soul powerhouse Nectar Woode announces her new single ‘Naturally’, which also serves as the title track of her forthcoming mixtape out this summer.
Following the success of her BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record ‘Lights Off’ in January, ‘Naturally’ offers another glimpse of Nectar’s forthcoming nine-track project, landing this June.
Continuing an already stand-out year for the rising star, from joining Olivia Dean for a special BRITs Week performance earlier this year to selling out the opening night of her upcoming headline tour – Nectar prepares to unveil an even deeper layer of her artistry with ‘Naturally’.
On the release, she said:
“This song encapsulates the feeling of acceptance, accepting where I am and what I’ve been through and being excited for the future with your person. The project starts with dark energy and doubt but knowing what I want and how to sieve through the BS to get to the other side. ‘Naturally’ is the finale of accepting and being happy with those you love.”
Describing the track as “a warm hug”, Nectar embraces the importance of honouring your emotions in order to move forward. With the mixtape’s themes centred on inner peace, ‘Naturally’ serves as a point of resolution, perfectly drawing the project together as its closing track.
“This project explores mistakes, frustration, a noisy brain, being in love and self-love. ‘Naturally’ feels like an honest title for all these themes.” – Nectar added on her upcoming body of work.
The forthcoming mixtape will follow a jampacked summer for Nectar who within two days of announcing her forthcoming European tour sold out her first stop – London’s iconic Jazz Café. Titled ‘BLOOM’ and powered by NOTION and dollop, the tour will kick off in London, before heading to Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin.

Bringing her heartfelt narratives on relationships, love and self-acceptance to life, this year’s schedule will include performances at Good Vibrations Society in Sussex, Down The Rabbit Hole in Holland, Printemps de Bourges in France, and a major support slot for GRAMMY-award winning band Bastille on Saturday 11th July with lots more to be announced.
Nectar’s 2025 ended with a sold-out show at London’s Village Underground, supporting Joy Crookes on her UK & EU tour, and the iconic Royal Albert Hall in December. With a much-celebrated debut on Later…with Jools Holland (watch here), plus acclaimed praise from fans and industry heavyweights alike, Nectar’s trajectory stays on the rise as she prepares to expand her much-loved universe of uplifting soul.
