[Classical Masters No. 9] A collection of definitive and long-selling recordings from Warner Classics (formerly EMI Classics). The analog recordings are the latest remastered recordings from analog masters at Abbey Road Studios and other overseas studios. The front cover uses the original overseas cover design. Commentary included. Klemperer recorded “No. 7” three times, and this is the second recording. Although the tempo is slow, it never loses its driving force, but rather the sure-footed steps that seem to gradually build up the excitement are overwhelmingly impressive.
