Cover Notes: ‘Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches’, originally released in 1990, was the first time the band dabbled with a dancier sound, enlisting British DJ Paul Oakenfold to produce the album. The result incorporated house music influences and became the centrepiece of the ‘Madchester’ movement.
