Description
The MAMS+ is an audio renderer and D/A converter in the compact RESTEK M product line. He was heard for the first time at the West German Hifi Days 2014.
Externally, the MAMS+ differs only on the back of the digital-to-analog converter MDAC+. While the latter has an I2S input and output, the MAMS+ has an Ethernet connection.
In terms of intrinsic values, the MAMS+ differs by an integrated Linux computer. The streaming function works on a computer or NAS MAMS+ then takes over a Wi-Fi router, the music signals. Operation is via a smartphone or a tablet with an app, for example BUBBLE UPNP.
The artist, song name, file format, etc. can be displayed on the MAMS + display. Volume changes on the smartphone are forwarded to the MAMS+, which converts them digitally or analogously.
