World-renowned saxophone player Sadao Watanabe recorded this elegant Brazilian music with cellist Jakis Morelenbaum, known for his collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto and others. The stylish performance by Rio de Janeiro’s leading musicians is backed by a sophisticated string orchestra, and the saxophonist plays bossa nova, ballads, and other songs full of songfulness.
