Description
:
[The Planets” is Holst’s masterpiece including “Jupiter” which has become very popular as the original music for Ayaka Hirahara’s hit song “Jupiter”. The orchestral music with a motif of mythology about seven planets from “Mars” to “Neptune” (Pluto had not yet been discovered at the time of composition) can be heard with the sharp tact of the world-class Seiji Ozawa, who led the Boston Symphony Orchestra and established the golden age of the orchestra. 24-bit master sound source. Rubidium clock cutting. [Performed by] New England Conservatory Choir, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Conductor: Seiji Ozawa Recorded: December 1979, Boston, 24-bit mastering
