Square Pusher has released its latest original album in 5 years! Dedicated to a late friend of the band, who passed away suddenly, and with whom the band shared their youth at raves and other venues even before they began their professional careers, this album was once again produced on analog equipment and features nine songs that expand on the early 90s Square Pusher sound in their ever-expanding and diverse careers. The album is dedicated to the late friend. The euphoric opener “Oberlove,” a pitch-down version of happy hardcore, strikes a chord, followed by “Hitsonu,” a confluence of high-speed acid, “Vortrack,” which is the first single and will collapse your frontal lobes with its wicked pulse, “Nervelevers,” and “Terminal Slam. From the fan-pleasing hardcore jungle of “Nervelevers” and “Terminal Slam” to the abyssal ending of “80 Ondula,” this is a work that beautifully mixes machine music and personal stories in pursuit of the intensity and madness that only hardware can provide, and is the first release on the “Do You The album features the familiar logo that has been on the cover since “Do You Know Squarepusher” (2002).The Japanese CD includes a commentary and an additional bonus track “Vortrack (Fracture Remix)”.
