Sting’s ‘The Last Ship’ was written for a musical telling the story of an industrial community in Sting’s hometown of Wallsend. It premiered on Broadway in 2014 and was nominated for a Tony Award. This Expanded Edition features 24 tracks over 2 CDs, including five brand new tracks and new artwork. Released ahead of Sting’s upcoming 2026 tour, it incudes a newly recorded ‘Island of Souls’ from 1991’s ‘The Soul Cages’. Pressed on the hi-res SHM-CD format this Japan-only 2xCD release comes in a a card digisleeve with obi strip and booklet.
