Description
Gangrene co-founder Oh No teams up with Lower East Side MC/producer Fokis for This Thing Called Life, a raw and reflective collaboration produced entirely by Oh No. The album explores the perspective of a child raised in the ghetto, navigating struggle, survival, and self-determination. Contributions from Oh No, Ras Kass and rising artist Papi Shank round out the record’s sharp lyrical focus and hard-edged sound.
Originally pressed in Poland in 2020 and shelved due to the pandemic, these hand-numbered records—limited to 500 copies—sat stranded in a warehouse until finally reaching U.S. shores five years later.
