Hiromi Uehara formed a new trio with Simon Phillips and Anthony Jackson for this 2011 album. After her solo piano work “Places to Be,” Hiromi Uehara challenged the new possibilities of trio by capturing the swell of emotion in sound with a trio formation, which can be said to be her starting point. Although it is a trio piece, it is one of her best works, transcending genres such as jazz, rock, and even orchestral worldviews. The members consist of Simon Phillips, famous for his work with Jeff Beck and as the drummer of TOTO, and Anthony Jackson, a steadfast super session bassist.
