The two-time Grammy Award winner and six-time Grammy nominee will release his fifth original album, “YES! Co-produced by Mike Mogis and Jason Mraz (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit, etc.), the album was recorded in Omaha, Nebraska and Oceanside, California. Incorporating traditional instruments such as cello, sitar, and vintage guitar, and collaborating with longtime friends of the folk/rock band Raining Jane, the sound is warmer and more acoustic than on the previous album.The album, entitled “YES!”, is a personal album that sings about universal themes such as love, faith, healing, environmental issues, and peace of mind, as well as a pop album with Jason Mraz’s unique sense of melody.
