Seven years after their last original album “PYRAMID3”, the three members Akira Jimbo (Dr.), Hirotaka Izumi (Pf), and Yuji Toriyama (Gt) reunite! The 11 songs on this album include not only new songs written by each member for PYRAMID, but also covers of songs that have influenced familiar members of the group, as well as rearrangements of songs they have tried their hand at. Continuing from the previous album, Taro Hakase (Vn) will participate as a guest. The album also features collaborations with a new generation of young musicians, including Hanah Spring, a talented vocalist; Mika Arisaka, a singer who has been featured in Toriyama’s solo works and the “Women’s Liberation” compilation by Super Paw label; and mabanua, a drummer, producer, and singer who is also active in multiple fields. The album was mastered by a UK engineer. The band has also collaborated worldwide with UK engineer and Grammy award winner Tim Young for mastering, and is still evolving as an Around Sixty band.This year, the 15th anniversary of the formation of O!kay Boys, the three adults returned to their school days as band mates and combined their individual energies to create an album with the “feelings of those days” in the 70’s! And now that each of them has matured as musicians and become veterans, they are releasing the album to the world!
